Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant- Scofield Manor

Position Summary: Responsible for arranging work to share the duties of caring for up to 50 residents requiring some help with activities of daily living. This position may be responsible for medication management, under the direction of the Consulting Nurse. Also responsible for the orderliness of the facility during hours when other administrative staff are off duty.  This position reports to an Administrator.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School graduate.  Minimum of one year experience working with elderly, mentally or physically challenged.

Eligibility Specialist

Position Summary: This position is responsible for interviewing tenants, verifying income and determining eligibility for the Section 8 Program.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management, Social Services or a related discipline is mandatory. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. In addition, a minimum of three years of experience in an office or other environment requiring extensive public contact or customer service such as public or assisted housing, public administration, government or community agency. Accounting, interviewing and direct customer interfacing experience a plus. Fluent in English. Spanish, Creole or other foreign language skills preferred.

Maintenance Mechanic III

Position Summary: Provide lead direction to employees in the preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and the organization’s physical housing and mixed-use facilities and assets.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited high school is mandatory. In addition, graduation from an accredited technical/vocational program or school with a concentration in plumbing is preferred. A plumbing license is preferred. In addition, a minimum of fifteen years of maintenance, plumbing and HVAC experience with five of those years supervising maintenance trades personnel, preferably in a bargaining union environment.

Part-Time Resident Concierge

Weekends & Overnights

Position Summary: The primary responsibilities are to ensure the safety and security of all residents and orderliness of the facility at all times. In addition, organize and participate in daily resident activities

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma required.  First Aid and CPR certified required, or within 60 days of hire.  Minimum of one year experience working with the elderly preferred.

Part-Time Housekeeper

Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Property Manager, responsible for keeping the facility clean, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting both resident and staff bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas.  Also, provides common supplies to each room including toilet paper and tissues.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Some experience working with equipment such as vacuums. Understanding of work on a regular schedule without close supervision

Custodian

Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to perform repetitive custodial work in the cleaning of residential and commercial buildings as directed by Supervising Staff.  

 

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited high school is mandatory. A minimum of one year work experience in building cleaning activities.
