Junior Accountant

Position Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist the accountants and managers in overseeing Charter Oak Communities’ (COC) finances. This includes, but is not limited to, cash management, budgeting, financial analyses and reporting, auditing and inter-fund accounting activities.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline is mandatory. In addition, a minimum of one (1) year accounting-related hands-on experience (i.e. accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting or financial analysis) is required.

Development and Asset Manager

Position Summary: Seeking an experienced individual to perform tasks related to real estate development, including assembly of funding from multiple private and public sources for mixed-income projects, and ongoing asset management.

Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a relevant field including, but not limited to, real estate development and/or management, public administration or urban planning. A Master’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.

Tax Credit Specialist – Assistant Property Manager

Position Summary: This position will support the operations of property management

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in business management, public administration or a related discipline is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in general office work is compulsory. Additional years of education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for experience with one (1) year of education replacing two (2) years of experience. Being bilingual would be an asset.

Part-Time Resident Attendant – Wormser Congregate

Position Summary: The primary responsibilities are to ensure the safety and security of all residents and orderliness of the facility at all times. In addition, organize and participate in daily resident activities.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma required. First Aid and CPR certified required, or within 60 days of hire. Minimum of one year experience working with the elderly. Knowledge of Microsoft Skills.
